Bae Bien-U presents ‘Orum Series’ at Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, after his successful exhibition at the venue in 2014. The austere and deliberately purified images of the Orums, the parasite volcanoes of Jeju Island, South Korea are presented in this exhibition. They appear as powerful abstract painting with a very strong imprint in our imagination with subtle chromatic schemes: white, grey and endless shades of black.
